Our hunt gift for the October 2012 Treasure Quest is a full pixie-sized avatar based on a plushie bat. We loving called it the Batvatar, and we were so psyched when we finished it, that we had to turn it into a real-life cut and sew plushie project.
The Batvatar avatar is impossibly cute – you have to see its little plushie wings flapping madly away to really grasp just HOW cute it is. The avatar is free, just come to Carriage Trade Miniature in Resol in Second Life, hunt for the Treasure Quest pumpkin icon to get it.
The Plushie will be available from Spoonflower – it’s designed to fit on a fat quarter, so you can buy one to make yourself for a mere $11, or you can buy 4 for the cost of a single yard of fabric.
